Congratulations to Tara Caldwell, the winner of Team Léo's Open House Contest! Tara hosted 47 Open Houses from January 2011 to April 2011 and won $1,000 towards a trip of her choice.

Bad News Bruneau Bears participated in the 21st annual Slo-Pitch Event for BC Children's Hospital. 66 teams participated and raised over $421,000 for BC’s kids this year! It was great to see the sun shining while supporters hit home runs and cheered from the stands!

Léo Bruneau received the Paul Harris Fellow Award on Thursday, April 27th.

Donors of $1,000 or more to the Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus, or the Humanitarian Grants Program, or people who have that amount contributed in their name, can be recognized as Paul Harris Fellows.  Each new Paul Harris Fellow receives a commemorative certificate and a pin.

RE/MAX All Points raised $400 for BC Children's Hospital at our impromtu office BBQ today!  Thank you Léo Bruneau and Ron Woollard for organizing this fundraiser.

Léo Bruneau, Team Léo - RE/MAX All Points Realty, generously donated $20,000 to the BC Children's Hospital from the money he raised during his Spokes for Kids Bike-a-thon and Miracle Maker Tele-thon at the beginning of June. He managed to raise $10,000 by asking 100 people to donate $100 for this great cause and matched it with his own $10,000 to make the total $20,000. On June 30th, he presented Denise Zunker with BC Children's Hospital with the cheque for $20,000.

Dear Mr. Bruneau,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Child and Family Clinic at BC Children's Hospital. We would
like to thank you so much for your donation of toys. I was notified by the BCCH Foundation office
and I was able to choose 2 big boxes of assorted toys and games.

My clinic sees children from all over the province where there has been an allegation of some
form of child abuse. Before the child leaves the clinic they are allowed to choose a present to
take home with them. Some of your smaller toys will be used for that purpose. At Christmas we
let the children choose an unwrapped present from under the tree to take home. These presents
tend to be bigger and therefore more expensive. The bigger toys from your donation will be used
at that time.

Your very generous donation allows us to give these very deserving children a great deal of joy
and excitement when they pick out their present. The look on their faces is priceless.

It would not be possible to do this without you and your company providing us with these toys and I
want to thank you once again. It is very much appreciated.
